IKEA

IKEA is a multinational conglomerate that designs and sells ready-to-assemble furniture, kitchen appliances, home accessories, decorations, and other household goods and services. The company was started in 1943 by Ingvar Kamprad and is currently headquartered in the Netherlands. Since 2008, IKEA has been the world's largest furniture retailer. The name IKEA is derived from the founder's initials, along with those of Elmtaryd, the family farm where he was born, and Agunnaryd, the nearby village where he grew up in southern Sweden.
