Virtual Reality

Virtual reality (VR) technology creates a computer-generated environment that feels real to the user. It uses pose tracking and 3D near-eye displays to give an immersive virtual world experience. VR applications include entertainment (such as video games), education (like medical or military training), and business (such as virtual meetings). There are other types of VR technology, like augmented reality and mixed reality, sometimes called extended reality (XR). However, the definitions of these technologies are still evolving, as the industry is still in its early stages.
