iOS

iOS, previously known as iPhone OS, is a mobile operating system exclusively developed by Apple Inc. for its hardware. The operating system powers a wide range of Apple's mobile devices, including the iPhone. This term also includes the system software for iPads, which existed before the introduction of iPadOS in 2019. It was also used on iPod Touch devices, but these were discontinued in mid-2022.
